PLANTATION

After numerous researches and surveys conducted during the years 2002 -2005 at the area of the prefecture of Drama the innovative plantation of Blueberries was set for the first time in Greece in 2005 at the model farmsteads at the area of the municipal districts of Kalampaki and Koudounia.

The vision of the bio – farmer and inspirer of the idea, Mr Nikolaos Papoutsis, for the import and station of the new plantation in the greek agricultural area became a reality.

At the plantation, which it covers around 40 acres, the rules of bio – production are applied. The producers’ team is checked and certified according to the EU Regulation 2092/91 ( bio agriculture) from CERT.
